Kitchen utensil series inspired by Jim Dine

We studied the artwork of Jim Dine, concentrating on his tool/utensil series. Then the students started by making several sketches of the kitchen utensils they brought in. Once they decided on one utensil to use for the final, they made their final drawing. In the final drawing they had to include small, medium and large sizes of their utensils and they had to overlap to create the illusion of space. Since this project was a series, they had to complete a pencil, colored pencil, watercolor and collage of their utensils.
