Japanese inspired carp
The beginning art students did some recycling and turned old toilet paper rolls into these beautiful carps. They used only tissue paper and glue sticks to complete these Japanese inspired carps that they hang outside for their celebration of children's day.

Spreading holiday Cheer
We began our metal embossing unit by experimenting with the medium of aluminum tooling foil. This was an optional assignment. Students were asked to draw 3 sketches of holiday ornaments which were transformed into metal ornaments that were hung on our classroom tree. Next up we are working on our final owl drawings that will be transferred to aluminum tooling foil as well. Stay tuned for the results!
